Roelof Westerbeek to take over from 15 March
Australian-based multinational pack-crumbling company Amcor has named Roelof Westerbeek equally its new president of Amcor Flexibles Asia Pacific. Westerbeek will commence work in his new Singapore-based part on 15 March 2022and replaces Ralf Wunderlich, who hasleft the job after six years to pursue other career interests.
"Roelof has extensive feel managing and growing a large-scale business in the Asia Pacific region and I am delighted to appoint him as president of Amcor Flexibles Asia Pacific," said Amcor MD and CEO Ron Delia. Westerbeek joins Amcor from Royal DSM where he has held a number of leadership positions over a 27-year career. Since 2008 Westerbeek has been president of DSM Technology Plastics, a global business generating sales of 1.3 billion Euro that supplies solutions and materials to the automotive, electronics and food packaging industries.

Delia thanked Wunderlich for his "outstanding contribution to Amcor since joining the company in 2010. Under his leadership, sales in the Flexibles Asia Pacific business have grown from U.s.$ 450 million to U.s.a.$ ane.2 billion, and the regional footprint has expanded to forty plants across eight countries. His contribution to Amcor's Global Management Squad during a very successful menses in the company's history has been considerable and will be missed. I would like to give thanks Ralf for his dedication and leadership and wish him well for the future."
PSA editor's note: Amcor has five plants located in the Northward and Southward of Bharat and produces flexible packaging products predominately for the food and personal care markets. Its latest acquisition was that of PIPL in Due south India in mid-2015. The business services leading multinational and local customers and generates annual sales of more than than Rs 260 crore (Us$ 40.0 million).
Packaging Southern asia is the cooperating media partner for drupa 2022 which is scheduled to be held from 31 May to 10 June at Dusseldorf, Germany.
